Thursday, April 02, 2015 – Permalink – Hide SlideYou don't need to show everything! If you create a PowerPoint show that includes all of the information about the subject, the show will be much too long and tedious for most audiences. Go to Slide Sorter view. Hold down the Ctrl key and select slides that contain extra or supplementary information. Right-click the selection and choose "Hide Slide." None of the selected slides will be shown during the show, but if a question comes up that needs more detail, the hidden slide can be retrieved by typing its number on the number key pad and hitting Enter. You can right-click on a slide and choose "Go to Slide." The hidden slides are indicated by parentheses. BTW: In the Print dialog box, you can choose to "Print Hidden Slides."
